Does your business rely on power entirely? Perhaps you’ve already installed a commercial generator. If so, remember that your generator must work 100% effectively at all times. That way, it won’t disappoint you when you need it most. Investing by committing to reliable commercial generator service companies in Bethesda, MD, is essential for everyone who owns a generator power backup system.
The truth is that every machine will, at some point, experience hitches that need servicing, no matter how powerful they could be. At Covenant Generators, we can’t emphasize the importance of professional generator servicing enough. Because of consistent use, specific components such as oil, spark plugs, batteries, fluids, spark belts, and hoses tend to depreciate over time.
Things like valve clearance, frequency, and ignition timing need adjustment with time. In short, engaging commercial generator service companies in Bethesda, MD, routinely for maintenance is the best way to ensure that your generator system works powerfully to secure your business activities.
At Covenant Generators, we prioritize preventive or scheduled maintenance and emergency service repairs. Once you call us to check your generator, some of the critical things we do include:
- Replacement of spark plugs
- Inspection of plug caps and ignition coil wires
- Inspection of the clean fins and cooling system
- Topping off the radiator
- Inspection of the fan guard for its condition and security
- Inspecting and cleaning pre-cleaner and air filter
- Replacement of fuel filters (either gasoline or diesel)
- Inspection for lugs and overheated power terminals
- Change of lubrication oil
- Inspection of mechanical switchgear mechanisms
- Checking time delays as necessary
- Performance of power outage simulations w/ permission
